Pass The Clutter Buck

Clutter is reportedly the number one reason prospective buyers are disenchanted while inspecting houses for sale. And Feng shui practictitioners target it among the first and easiest elements to remedy.

The No. 1 rule, according to the edperts, is "Don't hold on to anything you don't need". Stop being a pack rat - you can buy as many boxes, shelves and folders as you want to store your stuff - just do it.

Not necessarily all at once, though, or yould lose the momentum you need to complete the task. Clean up a little each day. Or set aside one day a month for a clean sweep.

The process for getting organized is the same for any space, large or small - move everything from the area you're going to organize, lay it out and assess what needs to go.

Organization experts will tell you over and over, if you haven't used it in a year, throw it away.
